Welcome to the flagship project of the European Festivals Association (EFA) in the framework of the 'European Year of Intercultural Dialogue 2008'.
The European Festivals Association – on this page - presents you with the Arts Festivals' Declaration and its journey throughout the world. It began with a festive signing ceremony in the presence of European Commissioner for Culture, Mr Ján Figel’, on 8 January 2008 in Ljubljana and continued with many stops throughout the year.
Festivals from all over the world breathed life into the text: they developed exceptional projects celebrating intercultural dialogue and highlighting the outstanding excellence of arts and culture and, in particular, festivals for enhancing dialogue between people.
