National Festivals Associations

By changing the Statutes in 1997, EFA opened the way to develop into a representative umbrella organisation of European festivals. New categories of membership were introduced for 'collective' members. Today, 14 national/regional Associations are part of EFA, representing more than 2000 festivals on their behalf.

European networks in the field of performing arts

Since 1999, EFA counts cultural networks among its members – this in order to provide a platform for collaborations and co-productions with specific artistic areas.
