Signing Ceremony

The Arts Festivals' Declaration on Intercultural Dialogue made its third stop in Oslo: Norwegian festivals, on 3 March 2008 signed the text in the framework of the Norway Festivals yearly national conference. Among the signatory parties: Halvard Ingebrigtsen, state secretary of the Culture department, Per Kvistad Uddu, EFA Board Member, and Øivind Pedersen, chairman of Norway Festivals.
Following the initial signing ceremony in Ljubljana on 8 January 2008, and the signing ceremony in Tallinn, Oslo is the third stop on the Declaration's journey across Europe.
Next will be the EFA General Assembly in Antalya / Turkey, on 25 April, where all EFA members, more than 100 music, dance and theater Festivals, will sign the Declaration.
