Job offer: Flanders Festival looks for officer responsible for funding

Flanders Festival Brussels is the biggest festival of classical Music in Belgium and is the proud organiser of the European Gala Concerts, Village on the Move, Living Room Music, Festival on Tour, children's choir Shanti! Shanti! and as the crown jewel: the KlaraFestival! This is the only broadcasting festival in Belgium, in tight partnership with the public radio and television. Responsible Funding (M/F)

The Position

You will maintain the relations to divers target groups, together with the general manager and the business manager:

1. sponsors: writing meeting reports, cooperation propostions, contracts, but also organise the promised return for the sponsors at the different concerts, i.e. organising receptions from A to Z, being responsible for the visibility

2. subsidizes: writing subsidy dossiers, realise the return, write a closing report; you are, together with the business director, responsible for the achievement of the budgets, and will manage, fully autonomously in time, a number of accounts of the target groups mentioned above. For the future we will emphasise on international sponsors and subsidisers.

Profile

• Masters or equally by experience (preferably communication science, marketing); extra education as culture science or management adds value
• Structured worker
• Affinity with classical music and/or global interest in culture
• Empathic towards different types of people, with the necessary discretion and commercial flair
• Used to work very independent but also with a great team spirit
• Flexible
• Immune to stress, as well during the work year as during the festival period
• No 9 to 5 mentality
• Hands-on: practical organiser
• Young and dynamic
• Good knowledge of MS-Office
• Trilingual D-F-E
