Speaker - Business as usual? The role of the arts and arts festivals in our time on Monday, 24 April | 15.00-16.30

Jurriaan Cooiman is the founder and Director of Festival CULTURESCAPES (2003). He lives and works since 1995 in Basel, Switzerland where he started organising music and dance festivals. He studied cultural management at University of Basel. The recent focus of CULTURESCAPES multidisciplinary biennale were 2021 Amazonas, 2019 Poland, 2017 Greece, 2015 Iceland. Currently they are preparing for the 2023 edition on Sahara and 2025 Himalaya.
