Norwegian Live
Norway
Norwegian Live (Norske Kutlurarramgører) is an interest- and competence organisation for Norwegian cultural organisers and represents an ever-increasing membership of over 450 festivals, clubs, venues, concert associations, student societies, libraries, museums and cultural centres. The association was established in 1982.
The Norwegian cultural organisers are a diverse grouping of large and small, voluntary run organisations and large commercial enterprises. In the biggest cities and at the countryside, these organisers work every day for the Norwegian audience to create cultural experiences. Good cultural experiences need good organisers and Norwegian Live works every day to provide Norwegian cultural organisers with an offer that enables them to develop as organisers. We also advocate for good framework conditions for the cultural organisers, and contribute to increase professionalism at the organising level.
Norwegian Live facilitates networking platforms and create arenas where organisers can meet and share best practice. Norwegian Live works in the interests of its members, and offer training materials, courses, a professional network, guidance and advice. As a member service, Norwegian Live also helps its members with legal services, financial support schemes, as well as sharing knowledge about cultural activities in a broad sense.
