Anne Wiederhold-Daryanavard is the co-founder and artistic director of Brunnenpassage and an actress. She was born and raised in Germany. She has a Master’s degree in Organizational Psychology at the University of Bremen. Anne Wiederhold studied acting in Bremen and Vienna.
Her work focuses on the development of formats for transcultural performing arts, decentralized cultural work and co-creative art, partnerships between decentralized and established cultural institutions, and diversity in cultural policy.
Anne Wiederhold was a delegate for Austria from 2012 until 2014 in the work group of the EU experts "Work Group for the Role of Public Arts and Cultural Institutions in the Promotion of Cultural Diversity and Intercultural Dialogue" for the European Commission in Brussels (BEL). She is the author (with Ivana Pilic) of the book "Art Practices in the Migration Society – Transcultural Strategies in Action at Brunnenpassage in Vienna", published by transcript Verlag in 2015.
Since 2012, she is a diversity expert at national and international lectures and is invited to panel discussions and conferences. She works as a juror for kültür gemma! (2014), Text in Scene (2015), SHIFT support programme of the City of Vienna (2017), Kosmos-Theater skünstlerische und betriebswirtschaftliche Direktion (2017), Programme committee of the Festival of the Regions (2018/2019) and the city competition for young people in Vienna/Theater Drachengasse (2019).
Since 2000, Anne Wiederhold has played in many international productions, especially in experimental body theatre, mask theatre and in the contemporary political documentary theatre.
