The Audi Summer Concerts organised by AUDI AG is a classical music festival that takes place every year in July. In order to enrich the cultural life of the company headquarters in Ingolstadt, AUDI AG presents world-renowned stars and up-coming artists. Celebrity guests such as Sir Simon Rattle, Anne-Sophie Mutter, Edita Gruberova and Lang Lang have already given concerts at the festival. The Summer Concerts are part of the cultural commitment of AUDI AG. For three years Audi Summer Concerts cooperated with Kent Nagano, the Artistic Director of the “Advance-Festival” – a festival within the Festival.
Every human is a distinctive individual whose talents and potentials fully unfold whilst acting collaboratively. Making music together equals constructing an emotional bridge. The individual championship of the soloist combined with the top performance of an ensemble form an inimitable oeuvre.
The Audi Summer Concerts welcome world-class orchestras such as the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, led by its new Lithuanian music director Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla, as well as rising stars like the Audi Youth Choir Academy. The outstanding highlight of the Audi Summer Concerts is the free Classic Open Air, featuring the Audi Philharmonic Wind Orchestra and the Georgian Chamber Orchestra Ingolstadt.
