The Rossini Opera Festival is an international event entirely dedicated to Gioachino Rossini from his hometown, Pesaro.
About
Rossini Opera Festival aims to revive,
to perform on stage and to study the musical heritage connected with the
composer. Besides his most
famous scores, the Festival has brought back into circulation, in critical
editions established as such by the Fondazione Rossini, a large number of
forgotten Rossini operas, restoring them to fervent opera lovers.
