The Malta International Arts Festival is the highlight of Malta’s cultural calendar and runs throughout June and July. Its philosophy is based on artistic integrity and excellence through the creation of innovative work, collaborations between countries and artists, engagement of the wider society, education, diversity and breadth. The multidisciplinary festival promotes freedom of artistic expression with a programme that embraces music, visual and sound art, theatre, dance, opera, installations, films and education.
