The Fondazione Ravenna Manifestazioni was created with the initial aim of organising its main event, the Ravenna Festival. The festival has always crossed the paths of different styles, languages and nationalities dedicated to the music and culture of the whole world. The programme, which runs through June and July, normally presents opera, classical, jazz and ethnic music, dance and drama performances, making use of Ravenna’s glorious architecture and surrounding area.
