Every year Cistermúsica turns Alcobaça (Portugal) into a place of pilgrimage for music lovers, bringing the best national and international musicians to the majestic scenery of the Alcobaça Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The Festival presents more than 50 performances and a diversified programme that embraces opera, dance, visual arts and cultural happenings, allowing discoveries beyond the boundaries of classical music.
