‘North Cyprus International Bellapais Music Festival’ was established in 1997 by ‘Music Trust’, a non-profit organisation formed to contribute to enhance the music culture in Cyprus.

Each year, the festival takes place in the Bellapais Abbey, located at about five kilometers from the town of Kyrenia, an historical monastery established in the 13th century.

North Cyprus International Bellapais Music Festival has hosted many orchestral concerts, solo recitals, choral and chamber music events since 1997.
