Celebrating its 7th edition in Summer 2023 this music festival, set in the authentic Italian Riviera town of Lerici, attracts international artists and music lovers. Its special mix of beauty and simplicity has drawn writers and artists to it for centuries, inspiring the international conductor Gianluca Marcianò to create the festival in his birthplace. In 2022 the festival commemorated 200 years since the death of Shelley in the Gulf of Poets where Lord Byron, D. H. Lawrence, Virginia Woolf and many other great names were captivated by the beauty of the picturesque bays and villages around Lerici.

In 2023 the focus of the festival is Donne – a celebration of women inspired by the 100th anniversary of the birth of Maria Callas. With opera, orchestral music and chamber music at its heart the festival also offers cabaret, jazz and songs from Hollywood. The festival welcomes the return of Sir Bryn Terfel with Joseph Calleja and Carmen Giannattasio with a concert performance of Tosca as well as international stars and exciting young talent.
