The Fundación Donostia/San Sebastián 2016 has opened the selection process for the following position: Managing Director of Fundación European Capital of Culture Donostia/San Sebastián 2016. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall development of programme operations and strategy. Knowledge of the Donostia/San Sebastián 2016 programme is required, as is a firm commitment to the project, its values, and the social and cultural reality of the area.

Salary negotiable, subject to experience. The contract runs for three years with possibility of extension.

Candidates should submit their curriculum vitae (*focus on “Experience and Qualification”) and a cover letter of max two pages (*focus on “Personal Skills”). Both documents must be written at least in English. Pre-selection interviews will be held in the last week of August 2014. The candidate can be interviewed in any of the four languages mentioned in the call conditions (Basque, Spanish, English or French).
