EFA is looking for a Operations Manager (m/f)

Description

As the Operations Manager, you oversee, monitor, manage and control the financial and administrative organization of EFA and its initiatives The Festival Academy, the European House for Culture, A Soul for Europe, EFFE - Europe for Festivals, Festivals for Europe and report back to the Secretary General.

You coordinate and manage the bookkeeping, the IT, the personal administration, the logistics, the administrative management of the members and the secretariat. You are the Secretary General’s advisor in the financial organisation, strategy and you manage the grant applications. You manage the overall EFA Organisation in the writing of EFA’s and EFA working groups’ budgets and financial reports.

You represent the Association on certain occasions nationally and internationally. You implement the financial control with the external audit, the bookkeeping office and assist and oversee working groups’ budgets for various applications on national and European level. You are responsible for the reporting to EU authorities, governmental bodies

You report to the Secretary General and are in daily touch with the working group coordinators.

As Operations Manager you will as well coordinate and overview certain executive tasks connected with the different programs of EFA. This will bring your job in connection with exciting national and international professionals involved in these programs.

Skills

You have skills in managing, writing and controlling budgets, bookkeeping and guiding the administrative aspect of an organization.

You can manage the financial policy of an organization.

As an operations manager you have executive skills, by preference in the international cultural sector.

Knowledge of English is requested; knowledge of Dutch and French is an asset.

Work regime

You will work on a part-time basis till September 2016 and on a full time basis as of 1 October 2016. You will be working in the EFA office in Brussels.
