The place of Culture in the UN Sustainable Development Goals
Webinar with Lucía Vázquez
Tuesday 17 October, 10.30 – 11.30 AM CEST

For
EFA and Pearle members, EFFE Labels, festivals registered on FestivalFinder.eu, EFFEA festivals and artists, The Festival Academy Alumni, and Cities

Together with Pearle*, EFA invites you to join an insightful webinar on 17 October, as we explore the often-overlooked connections between Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the cultural sector.

We aim to unravel how cultural activities can play a pivotal role in advancing these global sustainability objectives, even though culture is not explicitly mentioned within the SDGs. It will be an occasion to engage in discussions on practical approaches for integrating cultural activities with the SDGs, fostering a more sustainable and environmentally conscious world. This webinar promises to be an insightful exploration of the transformative potential of culture within the context of a brighter, more inclusive future for all.

The session will be animated by Lucía Vázquez, Project Manager of SDSN Spain's Culture and Education program and expert on culture in the SDGs. She will bring her rich experience in art, culture, and sustainability to guide us through this engaging topic.
