The Festival Academy (an initiative of the European Festivals Association - EFA) organises the 8th edition of the Festival Readings, for the 3rd time taking place in Sochi, Russia from 16-18 February 2018, in collaboration with the Winter International Arts Festival.

During three days, three high-level festival makers will reflect on artistic festival management issues in public lectures and open debates, offering the participants ample opportunity to gain first-hand professional insights and practical behind-the-scenes experiences before attending performances during the evening programme of the festival. 

All partners involved are delighted to welcome the following speakers, who will be amongst us for the full three days:

- Tom Creed, Theatre and Opera Director, Festival Organiser - Ireland

- Bernard Faivre d’Arcier, President Lyon Biennial and former long-standing Director Festival d’Avignon - France

- Kim Whitener, Producing Director HERE Arts Center in New York City – USA
