Europe votes!

The EU elections are at our doorstep from 23 to 26 May European citizens get the chance to vote for a better Europe. Arts festivals bring citizens together, celebrate similarities, embrace differences and stand strong against the rise of populism and nationalism.
EFA urges its members and all arts festivals in Europe to reach out to their audiences and call them to go vote! Below are a series of initiatives on European level that you can engage with and give inspiration to guide your audiences to the voting cabins.

This Time I’m Voting
This time it is not enough to just hope for a better future. This time each and every one of us needs to take responsibility for it and choose their future. That is why this time we are asking you to commit yourself to voting and to help persuade others to do the same.

Webinar EU policy van EMC
Looking back at a series of previous successful capacity building workshops, the EMC is proud to organise for the first time an online training opportunity on 14 May 2019. Ahead of the European Union Parliament Elections, this webinar will enable you to further understand cultural policy on a EU level.

Live DMA campaign
On the eve of the 2019 European elections that will take place between the 23rd and the 26thof May, Live DMA wants to raise and assert the values and goals supported by our network. The results of these elections will be a key moment for European cultural policies such as the Europe Creative or the Music Moves Europe programs; now is the time to advocate for informed working conditions and a better recognition of the beneficial actions that take place in live music venues, clubs and festivals.

The Culture Action Europe EP Elections 2019 Campaign aims to foster a stronger recognition of the cultural dimension of the European Union and culture’s contribution to Europe and to encourage voters to make their voice heard by participating in the European Parliamentary elections.
