Finnish conductor Mikko Franck new musical director of Belgian National Orchestra.

The young Finnish conductor Mikko Franck seems to be heading towards an impressive career. Already at the age of 24 he conducted the Philarmonia Orchestra, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the Bamberger Symfoniker. In september next year Franck will be the new musical director of the Belgian National Orchestra. After conducting the orchestra for the first time in 1999, Mikko Franck immediately felt it clicked with the musicians of the orchestra. Franck plans to work with the orchestra until 2005.
