Perform Europe call is out!
15 June 2021
We are happy to announce that the first step of Perform Europe’s call for international touring and distribution grants is now open on the brand new Perform Europe digital platform.
Perform Europe is an EU-funded project which aims to rethink cross-border performing arts presentation in a more inclusive, sustainable and balanced way, in all the countries of Creative Europe and the UK. The project is an 18-month journey, which includes a research phase, launching a digital platform, testing a grant-giving programme, and designing policy recommendations. Read more here.
In this first step, all interested performing arts producers (artists, collectives, companies, festivals and presenters that have produced an artistic work) and presenters (festivals, venues, and other organisations offering a presenting context) based in Creative Europe countries and in the UK are invited to apply to be part of Perform Europe’s process of collective learning and networking, and to possibly take part in testing a support scheme.
Candidates selected in this first step can shape partnerships among each other, co-create innovative touring and distribution proposals and apply for funding ranging from €10,000 to €100,000.
The applications for step 1 are open until 9 July at 23:59 CEST on the Perform Europe Digital Platform. Don’t delay; this first call will be open only for three weeks!

MEET THE JURY
After an open call for applications, we are proud to announce the Perform Europe Jury. Eleven accomplished performing arts professionals were carefully selected following an open call. Together, they represent a balanced and diverse group in terms of disciplines, locations, genders, levels of experience and areas of expertise, in full spirit of Perform Europe’s values.
The Jury will select the artists, companies, collectives, festivals and venues that will receive Perform Europe grants.
The eleven Jury members are: Gundega Laiviņa (Chair), Ana Letunić, Antonín Brinda, Elena Lydia Kreusch, Gerda König, Grace Okereke, Haris Pašović, Jonathan Holloway, Katarina Lindholm, Olga Drygas, and Vicenç Mayans. Meet them here.
