Prisma / Art Light Tech festival in Aveiro, Portugal invites artists, designers, light artists and lighting professionals as well as students and institutions to submit their proposals for the 2022 edition which will take place during nights 14 and 15 October 2022.

The main theme of PRISMA 2022 is “FORTRESS EUROPE“and aims to present the
values of freedom and the need for joint European space in its own creative artistic way.

An international open call invites to submit an original artwork to be
presented at the Prisma festival. The call is open until August 31st, 2022.

Candidates will have the bandstand at Parque Infante D. Pedro, the city’s major park, as the venue for the exhibition of light artwork during the festival. Different formats will be considered, from installation to immersive projection, statue-like projects and several other possibilities. The winning proposal will receive a grant of 8,000 euros (+ VAT, if applicable). Send your application before 31 August through this registration form.

PRISMA / Art Light Tech festival was established in 2019 and is organised by
Teatro Aveirense, Aveiro 2027 and the Aveiro City Council. It takes light as its raw
material to combine contemporary art and playful activities in the public space. As a two-night-long event, PRISMA invites people to the (re)discovery of Aveiro’s territory.
