As an official partner of the European Climate Pact, a movement of people taking steps in their own worlds to build a more sustainable Europe, the European Festivals Association invites you, whether you are a professional or not, to take part in the Photo Competition of the Climate Pact and recognise the efforts being made around you to fight against climate change. 

Everyone has a place in the Pact and everyone can participate in this competition so that, together, we can raise awareness on climate change and its consequences. This is also the opportunity to spark conversation, drive change and inspire decision-makers to take action!

To enter the competition, you can choose between three categories to show climate action:

• at home,
• in your community,
• or in your city. 

Be creative and submit your picture and a caption answering these questions: What climate action have you taken or noticed around you, in your home, community or city? Why does this make you proud or passionate?

Amongst the participants, 3 people will be selected from each category and one in a public vote. These 10 winners will receive:

• An invite to the Climate Pact annual event in Brussels in 2025, with travel and accommodation covered;
• Their climate action photo showcased at a physical exhibition during the event;
• A digital certificate;
• Features across the Climate Pact's digital platforms and exposure in an international media campaign.

The competition is open to all until the Monday 1 July.

Call for Festivals to host the photo exhibition

We are also inviting festivals that would be interested in hosting this climate action photo exhibition to contact us via info[@]efa-aef.eu. As the format of the exhibition has not been defined yet, festivals are free to welcome and adapt it to their own venues and formats that suit their needs and habits (printed pictures, digital pictures, etc.).
