As already mentioned in different previous messages, we are in the middle of the transition of our Association to a new EFA under Belgian law. This has some exceptional implications with regard to your membership contribution, as we informed you already in the letter from 15 August 2005: • Up till now, the financial year of EFA was covering the period August 1 till July 31. In the new EFA, the financial year will cover the period January 1 till December 31, being a normal calendar year; situation which will be active as from January 1, 2006. • The last membership contribution 2004-2005 covered your membership until July 31, 2005. For the last 5 months of the year 2005 (August 1, 2005 – December 31, 2005), the invoice entitled "Membership 2005" has been sent to you. It is calculated a ratio of 5/12 of the normal membership fee. • The membership 2006, which will cover the whole calendar year 2006 (January 1, 2006 – December 31, 2006), will be invoiced in the first weeks of 2006 at the usual yearly membership fee.
