The Estoril Festival celebrated its 30th anniversary on 16 July 2005 at the presence of Jorge Sampaio, President of Portugal; at this occasion an exhibition as well as a commemorative brochure and a CD gave evidence of the last 30 years of the festival. The Estoril Festival, directed by Prof. Dr. Pineiro Nagy, is member of the European Festivals Association since 1983. The Festival hosted twice the General Assembly (in 1985 and in 1998). The EFA asbl/vzw President Valmy Féaux has been representing EFA at the ceremony which was completed by “The Full Monteverdi”, performed by “I Fagiolini” from London.
