Don't get lost in the Danish Musical Landscape! Find your way to information sites, news, articles, etc., via www.DanishMusic.info, a new portal launched by the Music Centre of the Danish Arts Agency. The target groups are foreign professional performing artists, the music industry, music communicators, the press and media, as well as music lovers among the general public. The website is constructed with access points under the main genres of Folk, Classical, Jazz, Rock/Pop and World, reflecting the decentralised organisation of official Danish musical life. The Danish Arts Agency (under the Danish Ministry of Culture) has founded and financed the new portal, which was realised in collaboration with a number of Danish musical bodies, including the Danish Arts Council Committee for Music, the genre institutions and the Danish Broadcasting Corporation, DR. The music portal is the first in a number of similar websites which will cover the artistic range of the Danish Arts Agency, which in addition to music also encompasses the visual arts, literature and the performing arts. There will also be a cross-cutting website for international cultural co-operation. The website will in future be extended with many more links and articles. Don't forget to bookmark the page!
