The European Festivals Association, as one of its core activities in the next few months, is promoting, enabling, centralizing and contributing to research activities in the festival field. In this framework we contacted various academic institutions and departments across Europe to invite them to collaborate with us in this field. The departments for cultural and arts management, communication or cultural studies, event management or arts administration at your local university might be interested in one or another topic focusing on the festival phenomenon.
