Trans dada Express – Art’s Birthday 2006. This is the title of Art’s Birthday celebrated worldwide on January 17. A concert of electroacoustic music including works by Luciano Berio, Maurizio Giri, Michelangelo Lupone, Alessandro Melchiorre, Luigi Nono, Walter Prati, Massimiliano Viel will be broadcast live via Euroradio from Rome at 9 pm on RAI Radio 3. The performers are Lucia Bova (harp), Luca Sanzò (viola), Federica Vignoni (violin). Sound engineering and live electronics by Fabio Cifariello Ciardi, Maurizio Giri, Walter Prati. The concert will take place at the Discoteca di Stato – Museo dell’Audiovisivo on January 17 (V. Caetani 32) from 8.45 pm via Euroradio (EBU) network. The Italian contribution to the party, realized by RAI Radiofonia in collaboration with Federazione CEMAT, will be part of a programme including live streaming contributions by Vienna (ORF), Radio Russia (Moscow), RNE (Madrid), SWR (Baden-Baden), Radio Belgrade, CR (Prague), SR (Stockholm), DeutschlandRadio Kultur and Radio Tesla (Berlin), RTBF (Brussels), VPRO (Hilversum), Radio France/France Musique (Paris). Two points in Vienna (ORF) and Stockholm (SR) will collect all these presents to supply the EBU satellite channels Ravel (R) and Verdi (V). Channel R will broadcast the main items and signature terms while channel V will broadcast the contributions, which EBU members can also downlink and mix with the R channel signal.
