Acting as a catalyst and a platform for the dissemination of best practices within its festivals and communities, EFA works on environmental sustainability to raise awareness on the topic: the Go Green, Festivals! campaign collects best practices and stories from the field, “The EU Green Deal and Live Performance Organisations” booklet was published in 2023 with Pearle*, sustainability workshops are organised each year during EFA’s Arts Festivals Summits, EFA is a partner of the carbon sequestration project the European Festivals Forest, the EFFE Seal for festival cities and regions’ environmental monitor, etc. EFA commits to continue to raising awareness as part of the EU climate pact.
