The new music conference Access To Amsterdam (A2A) is about one thing only: MUSIC. The first edition takes place on October 17-20 with around 300 concerts on 20 different locations throughout the city. During 4 days A2A will transform Amsterdam into the live music city of Europe. Access to Amsterdam received more than 800 submissions of bands and artists from all over the world. An overwhelming response for this very first edition. Out of all the submissions Director of Showcases Paul Van Dijk selected 300 promising acts to perform during the Showcase Festival. No less than 33 Flemish Rock and Pop bands are amongst them! With 'Experience Music: Flemish Bands on A2A' The Flanders Music Centre wants to promote the Flemish bands on Access to Amsterdam. The Flanders Music Centre will provide on A2A promo-material such as compilation-cd's, posters, flyers and brochures about the Flemish bands on A2A. We will also be present on the conference itself. A special website was conceived for this event, with all the information about our activities on A2A.
