130 delegates, from 27 countries on four continents, representing 60 arts festivals joined for four working and networking days in Antalya/Turkey. This year’s theme of the Conference: "Festivals in a Globalizing World - Challenges of international cultural cooperation". In addition, two EFA Vice-Presidents, a new Board as well as the new Secretary General have been appointed. Another highlight: the signing of the Arts Festivals’ Declaration on Intercultural Dialogue by all EFA members. Keynote speeches by Ahmet Say, Author and Music Critic, and Yesim Gürer Oymak, Director of the Istanbul International Music Festival, allowed a deeper insight into the Turkish reflection on this issue.
