1 October 2008
The European Festivals Association published its September FestFlash – the monthly newsletter highlighting exceptional cases of festivals celebrating intercultural dialogue. The third edition of the FestFlash puts the work of the Berliner Festspiele central, interviewing Prof. Dr. Joachim Sartorius (Director Berliner Festspiele) about the Berliner Festspiele incorporating many different arts forms into a universal festival appealing to many different audiences. Highlights this time include projects by the Italian festival Settembre Musica, the Dutch International Gaudeamus Music Week, the Greek Medieval Rose Festival and the singing ceremony of Flemish and Walloon festivals of the Arts Festivals’ Declaration on Intercultural Dialogue.
