Jury selects 15 compositions for the International Gaudeamus Music Week 2009

PRESS RELEASE Jury selects 15 compositions for the International Gaudeamus Music Week 2009. The jury of the International Gaudeamus Music Week 2009, consisting of Huba de Graaff (The Netherlands), Akira Nishimura (Japan), and Julia Wolfe (USA), has nominated fifteen compositions for the Gaudeamus Prize 2009. These compositions, selected from 366 entries, will be performed in the International Gaudeamus Music Week, which will take place in Amsterdam from September 7 to 13, 2009. At the end of the International Gaudeamus Music Week, which is organized by Music Center the Netherlands (MCN), this same jury will announce the winner of the Gaudeamus Prize.
