In January 2009 LabforCulture published the article How can the cultural sector survive the financial crisis?. Written by Helmut Anheier, this article looks at the global financial situation in the culture and arts sector, and presents real suggestion for weathering the storm. As new announcements about funding cuts or gallery and museum closures continue to come in daily, LabforCulture created a dedicated online space where one can read online articles covering the situation, read cultural actors’ stories about the financial crisis or share ones own experience with the community.
