Actus tragicus competition at Festival 09

15 July 2009

Staatsoper Stuttgart (Stuttgart State Opera) presents the staged opera Actus tragicus at Festival 09. Set to the music of Bach, with its eloquence and connection to the human spirit, the minutiae and repetition of human behaviour is brought to life within the cross-section of a four-storey building set. The chorus is amongst the most successful in Europe and has won the title of 'Opernwelt's Opera Choir of the Year' seven times. We are giving away four Actus tragicus prize packs, each consisting of: • A Staatsoper Stuttgart branded umbrella • A Staatsoper Stuttgart magnetic bookmark • A copy of the CD Great Opera Choirs featuring works by Wagner, Mozart, Verdi, Monteverdi, Borodin and Schönberg, performed by Staatsopernchor Stuttgart and Staatsorchester Stuttgart • A limited edition Actus tragicus postcard To enter, email marketing@eif.co.uk with your name, address and the subject heading 'Actus tragicus' and tell us the name of the production's conductor.
