All speeches, presentations and background texts related to the seminar "Visa and Work Permits. Incoming and Outgoing Mobility in the Live Performance Sector" organised by Pearle* on 5 October 2010 in Brussels are available online. The seminar explored issues at stake for mobile performing arts organisations and individuals and discussed ways in which impediments to mobility can be dealt with. The seminar was initiated in the context of the European project PRACTICS, supported by a Pilot Programme for Artist Mobility of the European Commission. Two working sessions discussed issues related to work permit and visa regulation for third-country-nationals coming to Europe and for artists from the EU going abroad.
