Record number of international delegates at Dutch Classical Music Meeting 2011

Organizer Music Center the Netherlands looks back with great satisfaction on its three day event The Dutch Classical Music Meeting (DCMM). On 15, 16 and 17 October more than 300 international music professionals, from 38 countries, visited Amsterdam to meet in the Netherlands to discover the the top in Dutch classical music. Emerging markets This year the focus was on emerging markets and a large number of delegates from the Middle East and China were present. During the DCMM they witnessed performances of Arthur and Luke Jussen, the Amstel Quartet, Holland Baroque Society and Ralph van Raat, among others. Dutch Classical Music Meeting DCMM’s function is to bring together business-to-business contact between the Netherlands and the foreign market. Numerous requests from abroad for concerts with Dutch performers is the preliminary result. The third day of DCMM coincides with the Day of Classical Music in Muziekgebouw aan ’t IJ. This is the largest national event where the entire classical music scene from the Netherlands has the opportunity to come to come together.
