This page helps you plan your trip to Usedom and find out about the hotel and the various venues where the Arts Festivals Summit will be held.

How to get to Usedom

Usedom is the name of the Island.
Heringsdorf is the village on the Island where the conference hotel is located.
You can travel via Berlin, via Szczecin (Poland) or directly to Usedom.

VIA BERLIN (recommended)
1. By plane to Berlin Brandenburg (BER) or by train to Berlin Hauptbahnhof
2. Try to adapt your travel schedule to the shuttle busses
3. In case you can't catch the shuttle bus, you can either:

  • Take the fast train to Züssow + the slow train from Züssow to Heringsdorf + a shuttle will pick you up and bring you to the hotel
  • or rent a car in the airport and make your own way to Heringsdorf

VIA SZCZECIN
1. By plane to Szczecin (SZZ)
2. A shuttle will pick you up and bring you to the hotel

DIRECTLY TO HERINGSDORF
1. In case you plan to spend some extra days on Usedom or in the region, you can take the direct flight between Frankfurt and Heringsdorf (HDF) which is available only once a week on Saturday.
2. A shuttle will pick you up and bring you to the hotel

SHUTTLE BUSSES
Usedom Music Festival will foresee free shuttle busses between Berlin Brandenburg Airport and Heringsdorf. Travel time is 3,5 hours.
Please, try to adapt your arrival and departure times to the following schedule which we will revist a few days before departure to be useful for as many participants as possible:

  • BERLIN AIRPORT-HERINGSDORF (detailed pickup location tbc)
    shuttle 1: Saturday 11 May at 19.00
    shuttle 2: Sunday 12 May at 11.00
    shuttle 3: Sunday 12 May at 14.00
  • HERINGSDORF-BERLIN AIRPORT
    shuttle 1: Wednesday 15 May at 5.25
    shuttle 2: Wednesday 15 May at 10.00
    shuttle 3: Wednesday 15 May at 13.00

TRAIN
There is a fast train connection between Berlin Hauptbahnhof and Züssow (2h20m).
or from Berlin Brandenburg Airport to Züssow (2h52m).
Next you need to take a slow train from Züssow to Heringsdorf (1h35m).

CAR RENTAL & CAR SHARING
All main car rental companies are available in the airport (there is no possibility to rent a car on Usedom).
