Apply for a visa - Arts Festivals Summit 2023

Who needs to apply for a visa?

Most of the delegates will probably not need to apply for a visa, as Spain is a country within the European Union and the Schengen zone.

Spain requires a visa for some countries such as Armenia, Azerbaijan and Kosovo.

The EFA team is waiting for the answer from other embassies like United Kingdom and Israel.

Other countries with different requirements

Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia

Visa-free regime applies to citizens of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, and Serbia only if they are holders of biometric passports. They also need an invitation letter to prove that they are not engaged in gainful activity during their stay.

Azerbaijan

Azerbaijani citizens wishing to visit Spain for a period of less than 90 days will need to apply for a Shengen visa which will be granted by the French Embassy in Azerbaijan as Spain does not have a consular section. To do so, they should contact the company Capago, which is in charge of granting appointments and checking the necessary documents. You will find all the information at the following link https://fr-az.capago.eu/

Please note that the process of granting visas can take several weeks, so you should apply for an appointment at Capago as soon as possible.

Armenia
