Arts Festivals Summit Usedom 2024 Teaser Video

The European Festivals Association's (EFA) Arts Festivals Summit Usedom 2024 "The art of awareness, caring and connectivity" takes place from 12 to 15 May on the island of Usedom, Germany, hosted by the Usedom Music Festival. The Arts Festivals Summit is the annual get-together of festival makers along with their partners: artists, national festival associations, cities and regions officials. The Summit is an inspiring 3-day event that brings together 250 participants to discuss the role of arts and festivals in society.

As the sounding Podium of the Baltic Sea, the Usedom Music Festival equally presents the musical life of all countries surrounding the Baltic Sea, providing a special country focus each year of one of the Baltic Sea countries.

Take5*

Take5* is a filmed series of encounters between 5 artists and 2 guests who meet for the first time in a specific city to speak about Europe, festivals, the arts and their role in society. It is a curated, recorded exchange of opinions, translated by the director Stefan Arsenijevic into a 60-minute documentary.

EFFEA

The European Festivals Fund for Emerging Artists - EFFEA is an initiative of the European Festivals Association that offers emerging artists a platform to develop their careers on an international level through festivals.

The results of EFFEA Call #3 are now out: 57 projects were selected, involving 57 emerging artists under the wings of 159 festivals from 35 countries and 18 artistic disciplines. Throughout Europe and beyond, artists and festivals will work on their residency programmes between 1 June 2024 and 31 May 2025.

The EFFE Seal for Festival Cities and Regions is a recognition of, and an invitation to, cities and regions that wish to associate and integrate their development and image with a strong festival, cultural and European commitment.

The Festival Academy

The Festival Academy offers various training formats on festival management to young, dynamic and passionate festival makers worldwide. The community counts today more than 1000 Alumni in more than 80 countries.

The MYSTERY 45_Atelier Elefsina 2023 took place in Elefsina, Greece, from 21-28 June, 2023. The Atelier brought together 28 young festival managers from all over the world to spend 7 days with a group of young and experienced festival leaders, cultural activists, cross-sector experts, and artists in Elefsina during the 2023 Eleusis European Capital of Culture.

Perform Europe

Perform Europe is a funding scheme that supports inclusive, diverse, and green touring projects within the performing arts sector. The project is led by a consortium, including IETM (lead), EFA, Circostrada, European Dance Development Network (EDN), Pearle*, and IDEA Consult.
