COVID-19: overview of our members' festivals

We always say: “In Europe, the arts are just a festival away...”, and encourage audiences to discover you, them: the arts in our festivals.
Now we had to press ‘pause’; before we will have to press ‘re-set’.
Here is an overview of our members who
had to cancel or postpone their festivals. We’ll keep this list up to date (last update on 30 April 2020):
- Terras sem Sombra started on 18 January. The festival supposed to run until 12 July is now on hold.
- Klarafestival (12-29 March) has been cancelled. The opening concert of the Brussels Philharmonic and Ute Lemper took place in front of an empty hall and has been broadcasted live on Klara, Klara.be radio and the Klara app.
- The Ludwig van Beethoven Easter Festival which was supposed to run from 29 March till 10 April has been postponed to 4 till 13 September 2020.
- The Abu Dhabi Festival supposed to start on 31 March has been postponed. New dates should be communicated soon.
- The Ankara International Music Festival running in April is postponed to future dates which should be communicated soon.
- The Mersin International Music Festival supposed to start on 1 April till 18 April is postponed to October 2020.
- The Budapest Spring Festival which was supposed to run from 3 till 19 April is cancelled.
- Semana de Música Religiosa de Cuenca supposed to run from 6 to 12 April is postponed.
- The Festival Dias da Música supposed to start on 23 April has been postponed to 2-5 September 2020.
- The International Festival of Contemporary Art GOGOLFEST supposed to start on 29 April will broadcast live some of their performances.
- The Prague Spring Festival supposed to begin on 7 May until 4 June is cancelled. Yet they are proposing an alternative programme with moreover ten concerts broadcasted live.
- The Yerevan Perspectives International Music Festival supposed to start on 12 May and finish on 22 December. The concerts programmed in May/June will probably be postponed to September.
- The Bergen International Festival supposed to start on 20 May till 3 June is cancelled. They will communicate later in April their alternative programme for this year's edition.
- The International Izmir Festival supposed to start end of May, beginning of June has been postponed to a later date.
- The Israel Festival which was supposed to run from 4 till 20 June is postponed. New dates should be communicated soon.
- The Audi Sommerkonzerte supposed to start on 27 June until 12 July is cancelled.
- The Dubrovnik Summer Festival which was supposed to run from 10 July till 25 August is partially cancelled and tickets selling interrupted.
- The Mittelfest supposed to run in July has been postponed to 5 till 13 September 2020.
- The Edinburgh International Festival which was supposed to run from 7 till 31 August is cancelled.
We have not yet heard back from the following festivals:
- The Andrey Sakharov International Art Festivals supposed to start on 20 May till 10 June
- The Bodrum Music Festival supposed to run from 22-25 May
